Car Keys
Most automotive calls are about keys: worn, lost, broken or refusing to talk to the car. We make and program replacements, extract snapped blades and repair ignitions that have grown tired, and we check ownership before any key is cut.

Which one do I need?
- Your toddler is buckled in the back seat, the doors locked when you shut yours, and your keys are on the front seat beside your phone.Car Lockout Service
- You bought the car privately and it came with a single key on a shoelace.Car Key Replacement
- The proximity fob has ridden in a pocket for years, the range feels shorter than it used to, and a dashboard warning mentioned a battery a while back.Spare Car Key Duplication
- A fob went missing weeks ago somewhere between a coat pocket and a parking lot, and a spare has covered the gap since.Key Fob Programming
- The blade snapped off flush with the door lock last winter, and the shop that cut a replacement only matched the metal shape.Transponder Key Programming
- The key turned the engine off in the driveway and now refuses to come back out.Ignition Lock Repair

Reading the make, model and year
Cars from different decades open in different ways, so the vehicle's age and type are the next thing weighed. An older sedan with an exposed cylinder in every door is picked or decoded like a house lock. A newer car may have a single cylinder hidden under a small cap on the driver's handle, doors dense with wiring and airbag sensors, and an immobiliser that expects a recognised fob.
Some vans and trucks use a separate cargo lock system. A locksmith who knows the model chooses between wedge-and-reach, a decoder pick matched to that keyway, or the mechanical cylinder before touching the car.
